In the last third of XXth century ethics has appeared as a concrete necessity in many aspects of human activity and announces itself as an aspect of increasing importance throughout this XXI century. However, it’s necessary to state that applied ethics stays relatively remote of social intervention. The Observatory of applied ethics to social intervention has been created to give an answer to this situation.

The general targets of the Observatory are to stimulate the ethical reflection, to help finding answers to moral issues that social intervention states, and to collaborate in the construction of a civic, lay and pluralistic morality.
